Journey through the Celtic Netherworld of Irish mythology in the video game Folklore for the Sony PlayStation 3, which was developed by Game Republic. Its North American release date was October 9, 2007. In this game, the player takes on the roles of a young woman named Ellen and a journalist named Keats. They attempt to unravel the mysteries of a quaint little village called Doolin. They must enter the dangerous nether realms of the city.
These areas are filled with folk creatures that seek to consume memories of the dead. The gameplay is in third person, and the player gets to choose whether to play as Ellen or Keats.
